Talking about entertainment, gambling is another form to have fun that was used way back years unknown. Some gamble to let the time pass while others to gain for a living. Every person have different reasons. But as their reasons to gamble increases they become addicted to it.

Here are some things that leads a player to be addicted to gambling.

Chemical Causes

Gambling dependency does seem to acquire a number of relations to the brain chemistry. Norepinephrine is usually a hormone connected to anxiousness and stress that when released can possibly interfere with neurotransmitters inside the brain. Moreover chemical compounds and substances just like serotonin regulates a persons mood, temper and behavior. On the other hand dopamine (another chemical substance used by people in the medical field as a treatment that works within the sympathetic nervous system, that creates effects such as increasing blood pressure and heart rate) regulates pleasure. An imbalanced in serotonin triggers a scarcity in impulse management resulting to perform reckless actions. In addition if serotonin is combined with the frenzy effect of dopamine may lead anyone to embark upon uncontrollable gambling.

Emotional Causes

Those people struggling or experiencing psychological and emotional issues uses gambling as an outlet or catharsis to escape the pain or stress they are encountering. For them gambling is a great way to temporarily escape from problems. People who find themselves depresses or perhaps suffering in anxiety appear to have the tendency for compulsive and uncontrollable gambling problems. In addition, those who engage more in online gambling seems have a higher percentage to be addictive in gambling.
